The Glide Pod garden room also features an optional contemporary sliding louvered screen. Whether you need privacy for your office or solar shading for a gym studio this feature gives the Glide Pod a distinctive finish. For additional shading an optional recessed blind can be built discreetly into the structure of the pod.

The Glide Pod offers style and practicality for a large number of uses, but in most cases we can install it in your garden without the need for planning permission.

Outdoors to indoors

The Glide Pod features a small decked step area to create the perfect transition area from the outdoors to in. Spending time in the garden is no longer an activity confined to the summer. Large format sliding doors stepping in to a super insulated, heated interior space but with glazed views to three sides offers the perfect solution. The option for a sliding louvre screen is the perfect finishing touch.

Flexibility built in

The recess on the interior may also be used to create zoned spaces. The Glide Pod is popular for a variety of uses and it has enough interior space to include a shower room and even a mini kitchen too. We can customise your building to include ceiling recessed blinds, alternative floor finishes and many other options to ensure your Pod is the perfect retreat.

Permitted development

The design has been developed within the parameters for permitted development guidance for outbuildings. There may be restrictions for your home and if that’s the case we can help with planning but often we can provide all the extra space you need for your family without any of the worries of a planning application.
