When James and Lynne Clark were ready to down size to a smaller home in Harrogate they found a gem with a lovely garden. With everything settled in the new house, their thoughts turned to a new workspace for Lynne. With space running out in the house, a new garden building was the obvious solution.
As a couple with a keen eye for detail and desire for quality, Pod Space was their preferred choice. They had a clear idea of what they wanted to achieve and the Glide Pod was the perfect fit. A space tucked in to the back corner of the garden was the ideal location. The Glide Pod features sliding doors with a super slim profile so an almost uninterrupted view looking back towards the house. The corner of the garden gets the sunlight of the day so light floods in through the tall glazed window which also takes in the view across the garden.
James and Lynne have finished around the Pod with Yorkshire stone paving so there’s a lovely sitting area right outside. The mature trees surrounding the Pod provide a gorgeous backdrop so the Glide Pod is right at home with the timber cladding perfectly offsetting the contemporary black aluminium trims. Viewed in Autumn the colours are outstanding!
The Glide Pod is set to transform Lynne’s remote working experience. On the interior she has a warm solid Oak floor with cosy under floor heating and sleek painted plastered walls within a super insulated structure for a peaceful, focused work space. Frameless glazing contributes to the light, bright interior for an inspirational home office environment.
This sleek, modern garden room in Harrogate integrates seamlessly into natural surroundings and what’s more, it will add value to their already lovely new home.
