Pod Space have a longstanding commitment to preserve and protect the environment, from the products that we specify to the efficiency of our manufacturing operations. There are numerous environmental benefits to offsite manufacture which put modular buildings at the forefront of modern construction methods.
Despite that, there is more to be done. For many years we’ve contributed to tree planting schemes in our local area but now we’ve gone one step further. We’ve partnered up with Trees for Life to establish a corporate grove and we’re committed to planting a new tree for every project we install.
Trees for Life are a conservation charity working towards a vision for restoration and rewilding of the Caledonian Forest. With 1,700,000 planted to date, Pod Space are proud to be part of the journey towards re-planting native species to the highlands of Scotland.
FSC timbers, from managed forests is one of the primary resources used in the manufacture of our buildings so the partnership with Trees for Life seems like the natural fit for our next step towards environmental efficiency.
